**IF YOU ARE FLAT TOWING YOUR JEEP BEHIND A MOTORHOME/RV, the Maximus-3 Towing Tie Rod (Part # JL1020TR) is MANDATORY FOR SAFETY** .

The Towing Tie Rod triangulates your tow bar at the adapter connections, preventing the tow-bar arms from spreading outward in the event of surge brake delay or malfunction . Without this critical component, the Jeep will continually stress the tow bar arms open (open V-shape) during braking, causing the arms to repeatedly push the Tow Loop tabs outward, which can cause damage to both the Tow Loops and the vehicle frame .
