The MAXIMUS-3 Bronco Frame Horn Reinforcement Brackets kit will replace your factory nut plates that go behind the frame to add more structural reinforcement to the inherently weak factory frame bumper mounts which are prone to failure under load.  Factory/OEM frame horns are prone to fatigue failure, especially when used to mount flat towing equipment. Additionally, factory weld nuts can shear the back plates and pull through the large mounting slots on the frame horns when using a winch at pull loads greater than 8,000 Lb. 

The MAXIMUS-3 Frame Horns Reinforcement kit is made from 1/4" thick steel and is designed with pretension features to anchor the frame horns (bumper mounting flanges) to the chassis box frame without compromising the factory frontal collision crumple zones. This reinforcement brackets kit is a two-piece (inner & outer) set for each side that ties the frame horns to the main chassis box frames with four (4) heavy-duty M12 bolts. The design is pre-tensioned to eliminate stretching, which will allow you to safely use your MAXIMUS-3 winch saddle, stock bumper, aftermarket bumper winch or towing gear.
